BOISE, Idaho On the day before the second intrasquad scrimmage of the Fall Camp, Boise State head football coach Chris Petersen has selected Kyle Wilson as the Camper of the Day for the outstanding effort he displayed throughout practice.

“Wilson has been working his tail off,” coach Petersen said. “He is using the experience he got from last year and translating it into practice this year and it is really showing up. He is going to be a leader of our secondary and we are excited to see him go.”

Wilson, a 5’10”, 187 lbs., cornerback from Piscataway, N.J., started the final five games of the season at cornerback for the Broncos. He finished the season with 41 tackles, 0.5 tackles for loss, five pass break ups, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery and an interception. He also recorded career-high 11 tackles in his first start against Fresno State. Wilson was also named to the preseason All-Western Athletic Conference team by the Sporting News.

The Boise State intrasquad scrimmage will begin at 7:00 p.m. at Bronco Stadium.
