BOISE, Idaho - After a morning off, the team was out ready to impress at evening practice, but no player stood out like senior Kyle Gingg in head coach Chris Petersen’s eyes as he was Pete’s pick for Player of the Day, Thursday.
“Kyle’s been bringing great energy to the defense,” said Petersen. “He knows his assignments inside and out and he continues to get better every single day.”
The linebacker hailing from Phoenix, Ariz., was recently named third-team All-WAC in Phil Steele’s 2008 College Football Preview.
