BOISE, Idaho Freshman Kellen Moore connected on a 51-yard touchdown pass to Vinny Perretta on the lone big offensive play in Boise State’s first scrimmage of fall camp.  Defensively sophomore linebacker Derrell Acrey provided the defense’s biggest play stripping Moore of the ball on a blitz to force the only turnover of the scrimmage.

Moore led the Broncos offense passing for 137 yards while completing 9-of-22 passes.  Senior Bush Hamdan went 5-of-15 for 48 yards as he and Moore took all the snaps with the first team offense.  Junior Nick Lomax completed 7-of-9 passes for 68 yards, while sophomore Mike Coughlin connected on 5-of-8 passes for 35 yards.  Freshman Drew Hawkins was 5-of-9 for 49 yards.

The Bronco defense shut the door on what is expected to be a potent Bronco running attack allowing just 122 yards on 52 carries.  Senior Ian Johnson led the Broncos with 50 yards on 10 carries, while sophomore D.J. Harper rushed for 42 yards on seven carries.

Freshman Chris Potter led the Broncos with five catches, while freshman Chandler Koch had a team-high 61 yards receiving on three catches.
