BOISE, Idaho -- Senior defensive tackle Andrew Browning is Friday's fall camp Player of the Day as selected by Boise State head coach Chris Petersen.

Browning, a three-year letterman from Lake Oswego, Oregon, has 97 career tackles and four career sacks.  He was named to the Outland Trophy Watch List and was named honorable mention preseason All-American by NationalChamps.net, as well as being named to the preseason All-WAC team by The Sporting News and Blue Ribbon.

Last season, Browning earned second-team All-WAC honors and was honored as Boise State's top defensive lineman for the second straight season.  As a sophomore he earned honorable-mention All-WAC recognition.

"Did you see the punt he just caught to end practice," Petersen said.  "That is an athlete.  That kid has been working hard.  He throws up three times a day.  He works so hard in practice that he is throwing up every other drill.  He is what our d-line is all about, blue collar."
