The Broncos were back to two-a-days Thursday, but it was the first day of Fall Camp that the squads weren’t split for the two sessions. The entire team practiced together in the morning, and again in the afternoon.

The team was in full pads for the first session and in shells for the second.

The Broncos will have a short walk-thru tomorrow morning.

CAMPER OF THE DAY…

Following the sixth day of Bronco Fall Camp, Coach Pete named sixth-year senior running back D.J. Harper the Camper of the Day.

“D.J. is running hard and making sharp cuts,” Petersen said. “He has been extremely precise in what he’s doing out here.”

Harper finished as the Broncos’ second-leading rusher in 2011, picking up 557 yards on 115 carries (4.8 yards per rush). He scored a career-high nine rushing touchdowns last season, and now has 24 for his career – the ninth-most in school history.
