BOISE, Idaho For the seventh day of the 2007 Boise State Fall Camp head coach Chris Petersen has selected Jeff Cavender as the Camper of the Day for his outstanding efforts throughout practice.

Jeff Cavender had a very nice day,” coach Petersen said. “He has made the adjustment from basically every position on the offensive line back to center and he is doing a good job being a leader of that crew. When he performs like he has the last couple of days we will be a very effective offense ”

Cavender, a 6’2”, 287 lbs., center from Elko, Nev., has been a starter every game of his Boise State career. He started 12 games at right tackle as a freshman, 13 games at center as a sophomore and 13 games at right guard as a junior. The Broncos have finished in the top 20 nationally in rushing each of Cavender’s three seasons on the line.
