BOISE, Idaho - For each day of Fall Camp, Bronco football Head Coach Chris Petersen is going to select one player who had an outstanding practice and reward him as “Coach Pete’s Player of the Day.” Wednesday’s Player of the Day is sophomore Mike T. Williams.
Williams, a 6’4, 238-pound defensive end out of Sacramento, Calif., played in all 13 games for the Broncos last season. He registered 2.5 sacks and tackles for loss playing primarily on passing downs.
“I have been very excited about Mike T. since spring ball,” Petersen said. “He has actually taken it up to another level. He is doing everything that coach Kwiatkowski is teaching him and he plays with great effort and intensity every day. He will be a force for us this fall.”
