Bronco Fall Camp Insider: Day Four

Boise State held its final split-squad practice of Fall Camp, Tuesday. The entire team will combine for one practice in the morning Wednesday, and it will also mark the first day of camp in full pads.

Following the fourth day of Bronco Fall Camp, Coach Pete named redshirt senior offensive tackle Faraji Wright the Camper of the Day.

“Faraji showed up to this camp ready to compete,” Petersen said. “He has been playing at a high level from day one, and he has been extremely focused.”

Wright, from Vallejo, Calif. (Berkeley HS), has played in 22 games for the Broncos the last three seasons, including three starts at left guard as a redshirt sophomore in 2010.

D.J. Harper on why the team is coming together so quickly in fall camp…
“I think this spring we did some really good things. Going through that whole entire spring ball process and during the course of the summer, just doing seven-on(-seven) periods and summer workouts and getting that team chemistry together has really helped us out a lot, especially these first few days.”

Michael Ames on the first four days of camp…
“Fall camp’s going well so far. It’s been really physical, really tough and it’s been really hot. I think so far it’s gone really well and I’m just focused on getting better each and every day and doing my best.”

Boise State has had 10-straight senior classes win 40-or-more games in their careers, or an average of at least 10 wins per season. This year’s seniors already boast 38 wins, and thus need two in 2012 to become Boise State’s 11th-straight 40-win class.

Season tickets are still available at all price levels, starting at $220 in the North End Zone up to $380 plus applicable BAA membership for priority seating areas. CLICK HERE or call 208-426-4737 for more information.
