BOISE, Idaho The sixth day of the 2007 Boise State Fall Camp featured the first double-day practice for the team, but it did not stop Jeremy Childs from impressing head coach Chris Petersen enough to earn Camper of the Day honors for his outstanding efforts throughout practice.
“Childs has been very consistent,” coach Petersen said. “He is working extremely hard and we are expecting him to be a leader of the group.”
Childs, a 6’0”, 184 lbs., sophomore wide receiver from Los Alamitos, Calif., was part of the Broncos wide receiver rotation in 2006. He played in all 13 games recording 14 catches for 152 yards and a touchdown.
