BOISE, Idaho - Months of anticipation for the 2010 college football season will finally come to an end at Boise State, Friday (Aug. 6), as the Broncos open up two weeks of fall camp to begin preparation for the upcoming season.
Boise State's fall camp will run from Friday until Aug. 21 (Saturday). All practices during the fall are closed to the public. The Broncos will hold one open to the public scrimmage, giving fans a chance to see the team before the season kicks off.
The Blue-Orange Fall Scrimmage, which will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Aug. 21, will pit the Boise State offensive unit against the defensive unit. Parking and admission to the event are free of charge with general admission seating on the West Side of the stadium. The scrimmage is the nightcap for a day of football at Bronco Stadium, as the 2010 Optimist Youth Football Jamboree will also take place that morning and afternoon at Bronco Stadium.
Boise State opens the 2010 football season on Sept. 6 (Monday) with a highly anticipated match-up against Virginia Tech at Fed Ex Field in Landover, M.D. Kick-off is scheduled for 8 p.m. (EST). The game will be televised on ESPN.
