July 15, 2014

BOISE, Idaho - Boise State redshirt senior wide receiver Matt Miller was named to the 2014 Biletnikoff Award Watch List, given annually to the nation's top receiver.

A second-team All-Mountain West honoree in 2012 and an honorable mention All-MW selection in 2013, Miller is one of seven wide receivers from the league on the 55-member Watch List.

Miller has already accumulated 216 catches, 2,588 yards and 26 touchdowns for his career, ranking second, fifth and fourth, respectively, on the Broncos' all-time lists. The reception total ranks third-nationally amongst active players returning for 2014, and the career yardage total ranks fourth-nationally.

Miller hauled in a school-record 88 catches for 1,140 yards and 12 touchdowns in 2013. The touchdown total ranked tied for 10th-nationally, and his reception total from last season is the fifth-highest amongst players returning for 2014.

He has caught at least one pass in each of his 39 career games, the longest such streak in the country.

The Broncos are entering their first season under head coach Bryan Harsin, a former Bronco quarterback (1995-99) who also served on the coaching staff from 2001-10. With Harsin as offensive coordinator from 2006-10, Boise State went 61-5, including undefeated seasons in 2006 (13-0) and 2009 (14-0). The Broncos scored 2,733 points during that time, the most in the country.
