BOISE, Idaho - Boise State announced color schemes for each of its six 2018 regular-season home football games, Wednesday.

The home opener against Connecticut, set for Sept. 8, will feature a tri-color scheme. Boise State and UConn will kick off the home slate at 8:15 p.m. on either ESPN2 or ESPNU, avoiding the Treasure Valley summer heat.

Parent and Family Weekend is scheduled for San Diego State (Oct. 6), while Homecoming is scheduled for Nov. 3, against BYU. Each game will feature a blue and orange pattern.

Albertsons Stadium will feature an Orange Out in the Broncos’ first home Friday-night contest, against Colorado State (Oct. 19), and a Blue Out against Fresno State in another Friday game, Nov. 9. Each of the match-ups is slated for national television, under the lights on ESPN2 – 7 p.m. against the Rams, and 8:15 p.m. against the Bulldogs in a rematch of the 2017 MW Championship Game.

The regular-season home finale against Utah State is Spirit Day, and fans are asked to wear their favorite Bronco gear regardless of color.

For the Broncos’ road games against Troy (Sept. 1), Oklahoma State (Sept. 15) and New Mexico (Nov. 16), fans are encouraged to wear blue. For the tilts at Wyoming (Sept. 29), Nevada (Oct. 13) and Air Force (Oct. 27), orange is the preferred color.

Season tickets, the Blue Collar Pass and away game tickets are on sale now, and mini plans will go on sale July 9. Tickets can be purchased at BroncoSports.com/tickets, or by calling the Athletic Ticket Office at (208) 426-4737.

The Broncos enter 2018 as the defending Mountain West Champions, returning 14 of their 19 all-conference honorees. Last season’s conference championship was the team's 13th since joining what is now the Football Bowl Subdivision in 1996, more than any school in the country. During that time the Broncos have also won 10-or-more games 15 times, a mark that ranks second nationally only to Ohio State (17).

Boise State is also 108-7 at Albertsons Stadium since 2000, the nation's highest home winning percentage (.939).
