Tickets Remain for Season Opener Against Virginia Tech

BOISE, Idaho - Tickets still remain for Bronco fans looking to make the trek across country to join the Boise State football team in its 2010 season opener against Virginia Tech on Sept. 6 (Monday), with tickets costing $56 each.  To purchase go online to  

Priority deadline for season ticket holders is May 31st for the Virginia Tech game. Season ticket holders looking to purchase tickets for the season opener at FedEx Field outside of Washington D.C., need to do so through their online season ticket account. 

All other away game tickets will go on sale to the public June 1st.   

SportingNews recently released its preseason top-25 where it listed the Broncos ranked No. 3 nationally to start the 2010 season. Boise State received the No. 3 ranking following a perfect 14-0 record in 2009 that was capped by a 17-10 victory over TCU in the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl. The Broncos, who return 22-of-24 starters from last season, were ranked behind No. 1 Alabama and No. 2 Ohio State. Rounding out the SportingNews Preseason Top-10 is Miami (FL), Florida, TCU, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Texas and Oklahoma. Virginia Tech, who Boise State opens the 2010 season against, was ranked No. 12.
