Boise State Signs Austin Cottrell

BOISE, Idaho - Boise State football has signed Scottsdale Community College wide receiver Austin Cottrell to a Financial Aid Agreement.

Cottrell, a Glendale, Ariz. native, will be eligible immediately as a true sophomore for the Broncos.

The 6-foot-3, 200-pound receiver caught 12 passes for 108 yards and a touchdown over nine games in 2014 for the Artichokes. That followed a prep career in which he had 15 catches for 260 yards and a touchdown as a senior at Mountain Ridge High School in 2013, and caught a combined 55 passes for 746 yards and six touchdowns over two varsity seasons at Sandra Day O'Connor High School from 2012-13.
