May 8, 2015

BOISE, Idaho - Six former Boise State football standouts, including five members of the 2014 Fiesta Bowl champion squad, began training Friday at rookie minicamps with various NFL clubs this weekend.

Fifth-round draft pick Jay Ajayi will participate in his first minicamp as a member of the Miami Dolphins, while free-agent signees Matt Miller and Blake Renaud will be in action at minicamps with the Denver Broncos and Minnesota Vikings, respectively. Quarterback Grant Hedrick and kicker Dan Goodale each received minicamp invites, as Hedrick will join Miller with the Broncos and Goodale will be at the Baltimore Ravens' minicamp.

Center Matt Paradis, a 2014 draft pick of the Broncos, will also participate in Denver's minicamp. Paradis spent the 2014 NFL season on the Broncos' practice squad.

Players that have not accrued a season of NFL experience are eligible to participate in rookie minicamps. The minicamps feature drafted players, unsigned free agents and tryout players.
