COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Mountain West released its national television schedule for the 2012 football season Thursday, and 10 Boise State games are included in the package.
In addition to the Broncos’ previously-announced game against Michigan State (Friday, Aug. 31) on ESPN, the family of networks will also broadcast Boise State’s games against BYU and Nevada. The game against the Cougars has been moved to Thursday (Sept. 20) on ESPN, and the game against the Wolf Pack has been moved to Dec. 1 (Saturday), and will air on either ABC, ESPN or ESPN2. Kickoff times for each game have yet to be determined.
At this point, only two games – Michigan State and BYU – will not be played on a Saturday.
NBC Sports Network will televise five of the Broncos’ games in 2012, including home games against Miami (Ohio), Sept. 15 (2 p.m.); Fresno State, Oct. 13 (1:30 p.m.); UNLV, Oct. 20 (1:30 p.m.); and Colorado State, Nov. 17 (1:30 p.m.). Boise State’s game at Hawaii will also air on NBC Sports Network Nov. 10, at 5 p.m.
CBS Sports Network will air the Broncos’ games at Wyoming (Oct. 27, 1:30 p.m.), and at Bronco Stadium against San Diego State Nov. 3, at 8:30 p.m.
Television broadcasts for the games at New Mexico (Sept. 29) and at Southern Miss (Oct. 6) have yet to be determined.
