Matt Miller Signs With The Denver Broncos
May 2, 2015

BOISE, Idaho - Former Boise State wide receiver Matt Miller signed a free-agent deal with the Denver Broncos, the club announced Saturday night.

Miller was one of nine college free-agent signings announced by the Broncos following the conclusion of the 2015 NFL Draft. He was one of two wide receivers signed, being joined by Rice's Jordan Taylor.

Despite Miller's final season at Boise State being cut short by injury after five games in 2014, he still finished his time on The Blue as the Broncos' all-time leader in receptions (244), second in receiving yards (3,049) and third in touchdown receptions (29). At the time of his injury in 2014, Miller, a preseason Biletnikoff Award candidate, was one of Boise State's top receivers with 28 catches for 461 yards and three touchdowns.

He was twice honored by the Mountain West, being named honorable mention in 2013 and to the conference's second team in 2012. Miller's finest season in Boise came in 2013 as he posted career highs with 88 catches for 1,140 yards (third-highest single-season total in school history) and 12 touchdowns (fourth-most in school history).

Miller caught 66 passes for 769 yards and five touchdowns in 2012, a season after earning a pair of Freshman All-America honors from the FWAA (First Team) and Yahoo Sports (Second team) when he hauled in 62 passes for 679 yards and nine touchdowns.
