Boise State to Honor Kellen Moore at Spring Game
April 3, 2015

BOISE, Idaho - The Boise State football team will honor former Bronco quarterback Kellen Moore during pregame at the Blue and Orange Spring Game, April 11 (Saturday).

The ceremony will take place at midfield at 5:11 p.m., prior to kick off, which is scheduled for 5:15 p.m. Moore will be joined by his family for a video tribute and a presentation from head coach Bryan Harsin.

Moore, the winningest quarterback in the history of college football, went 50-3 (.943) during his four-year career as the Broncos' starter.

He threw for 14,667 yards, the fifth-most in NCAA history, and 142 touchdowns, the second-most all-time. He is one of only six quarterbacks in college football history to throw for more than 14,000 yards, and his interception ratio of .01688 - just 28 in 1,658 attempts - established an NCAA record.

Moore owns Boise State's career records in total offense (14,534), passing yards (14,667), pass attempts (1,219), pass completions (1,157), touchdown passes (142) and 300-yard passing games (16). He also owns four of the top five single-season passing yardage totals, and each of the top three single-season passing touchdown totals.

An All-American and the conference offensive player of the year from 2009-11, Moore was a Heisman Trophy finalist in 2010 and garnered All-America accolades from 2009-11. He was named the Touchdown Club of Columbus' Quarterback of the Year in 2010 and 2011, and the award was ultimately named in his honor following the conclusion of his career.

Moore was a two-time finalist for the Maxwell Award (2010-11), and also earned finalist consideration for the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award (2011), the Manning Award (2011) and the Davey O'Brien Award (2010).

General admission tickets to the Blue and Orange Spring Game are available for $10, and can be purchased online at BroncoSports.com/tickets, by phone (208-426-4737) or at the Boise State Athletic Ticket Office on the west side of Albertsons Stadium.
