2012 Bronco Football Season Ticket Renewals in the Mail

BOISE, Idaho - Boise State football season ticket renewal forms are in the mail and Bronco fans can begin renewing their seats for the 2012 season by going to www.broncosports.com and accessing their individual accounts.

Current season ticket holders should be receiving information over the next couple of days and have until April 25 (Wednesday) to either mail the forms back to the Boise State Athletic Ticket Office or renew online.

Included along with this year's renewal forms will be tickets to this year's annual Blue and Orange Spring Game, scheduled for April 14 (Saturday) at 5 p.m., at Bronco Stadium.

Boise State plays six games at Bronco Stadium this year with its first home game Sept. 15 (Saturday) against Miami (Ohio) in a non conference game.  BYU comes to Boise the following week (Sept. 22, Saturday) before the Broncos play their first Mountain West home game of the 2012 season Oct. 13 (Saturday) against Fresno State.

The Broncos' final three homes games are all league contests against UNLV (Oct. 20, Saturday), San Diego State (Nov. 3, Saturday) and Colorado State (Nov. 17, Saturday).

"This will be another challenging schedule for our team," head football coach Chris Petersen stated.  "Our players are excited about this year's schedule and have been working hard during the off season. We've had a good first two weeks of spring practice and competition for all the positions has been very strong."

There are five different price categories for this year's individual season tickets ranging, from $155 for a junior general admission ticket in the north end zone to $380 for an adult season ticket in the main core of Bronco Stadium.

Tickets in the main core of the stadium must also include the applicable Bronco Athletic Association membership, including $950 for Wrangler; $650 for Roughrider; $475 for Buckaroo; and $150 for Bronco.

In non-priority sections, ticket prices are $320 in the upper and lower decks of the southeast corner of the stadium, and the upper deck of the southwest corner.  Non-priority reserved seats in the south end zone are $273 for adults and $199 for juniors, while non-priority general admission tickets in the north end zone are $220 for adults and $155 for juniors.

Boise State will once again have its popular Family Plan, which includes two adult and two junior tickets for the price of $766.  These tickets are in the lower and upper sections of the southeast and southwest corners, and the south end zone.  Additional junior tickets can be purchased for $78.

Fans in the north and south end zones will enjoy new permanent seating.  Along with the construction of the new Bronco Football Complex in the north grass field area, Boise State is replacing its end zone seats.  The new end zone configurations will increase the total number of seats in the north end zone to 3,750 and south end zone to 4,900, bringing the total capacity of Bronco Stadium to 37,000.

The south end zone construction will also connect the east and west concourses, allowing fans to access concessions and restrooms on both sides of the stadium.

Both construction projects (end zone seats and football complex) will begin in early April with the new seats ready for the upcoming football season and the football complex completed in the summer of 2013.

Boise State opens the 2012 season Aug. 31 (Friday), at Michigan State.  The game will broadcast nationally by ESPN with the kickoff time still to be determined.
