BOISE, Idaho -- Boise State University football players will be spread throughout the Treasure Valley on Friday and Saturday (March 12 and 13), in conjunction with the release of the 2009 Bronco football commemorative DVD titled "Return To Glendale: The Road To Perfection".
This year's DVD is a dual disk set, with more than three hours of highlights, interviews and all-access footage that features the entire regular season and takes fans back to Glendale for all the pageantry and drama of the 2010 Tostitos Fiesta Bowl.
The first copies of the DVD will be available for purchase on Friday night beginning at 6 pm at the Bronco Shop in the Boise State Student Union Building and the Blue and Orange Store in the Boise Towne Square Mall. Players will be on hand for a meet and greet/autograph event at both of those locations from 6-8 pm Friday night. On Saturday, players will take part in DVD release activities from Noon-2 pm in Canyon County at the Bronco Shop in Nampa's Treasure Valley Marketplace.
Following is a list of which players are scheduled to be at the designated locations. Campus Bronco Shop on Friday night: Kellen Moore, Billy Winn, Winston Venable, Jeremy Avery, Chase Baker and Kyle Efaw. Boise Towne Square Mall on Friday night: Austin Pettis, Titus Young, Jeron Johnson, Brandyn Thompson, George Iloka and Doug Martin. Nampa Bronco Shop on Saturday afternoon: Ryan Winterswyk, Derrell Acrey, Shea McClellin, Kyle Brotzman, Matt Kaiserman and Tyler Shoemaker.
In order to accomodate as many fans as possible, those attending the release events will be allowed to bring one outside item to be autographed by the players. Players will also autograph the 2009 commemorative DVD and the Fiesta Bowl Special Edition of The Blue Magazine, which will be available for the first time at the release events. The special edition magazine is a full color, glossy keepsake with more than 100 pages of award winning photography and content, including an exclusive season reflection from head coach Chris Petersen.
The "Return To Glendale" commemorative DVD and Fiesta Bowl Special Edition of The Blue Magazine will also be available beginning this weekend at Costco in both Boise and Nampa. Additionally, all local Albertsons, Walgreens and Zamzows stores are slated to carry the DVD and magazine beginning early next week.
The price of the commemorative DVD is $19.99 and the special edition of The Blue Magazine is $9.99.
