![]() BOISE, Idaho - Spring practice gets underway for the Boise State football team this Monday (March 11) as the Broncos continue their preparations for the 2013 season. The three-time defending MAACO Bowl Las Vegas Champion and co-defending Mountain West Conference Champion will practice 15 times over the next five weeks. The team will have seven practices during the first two weeks, take off the week of March 25-29 (Monday-Friday) for the University's spring break, and return for eight more practices from April 2 (Tuesday) to April 15 (Monday). Boise State will hold its annual spring game on April 13 (Saturday) beginning at 5 p.m. in Bronco Stadium. Chris Petersen is beginning his eighth season directing the Bronco program. He is the winningest active head coach in the Football Bowl Subdivision, boasting an 84-8 record for a winning percentage of .913. The Broncos are coming off an 11-2 record in 2012, finishing the season ranked No. 14 in the USA Today Coaches' Poll and No. 18 in the Associated Press Poll. |
