The Boise State Football team took some time to give back to the community with the National Education Association’s “Read Across America” Day. The national celebration was on March 2nd, in honor of Dr. Seuss. The program is designed to encourage children to read more at a younger age.
The Broncos traveled to White Pine Elementary to help promote this event. Seven players donned “Cat In The Hat” caps as they read Dr. Seuss books to the children and handed out school supplies for participation. The players went to each individual classroom to read their favorite Dr. Seuss tales. Besides getting autographs and spending time with the players, the highlight of the day for the kids was when junior receiver Titus Young began to rap his story of “Whoville”.

The players who attended were:
Derrell Acrey
Titus Young
Brandyn Thompson
Chase Baker
Tommy Gallarda
Jimmy Pavel
Drew Hawkins
