BOISE, Idaho - The Mountain West Conference announced its 2011 football schedule today (March 3) with Boise State University playing its first official MWC game on Oct. 15 (Saturday) at Colorado State University.
The league office only announced dates for its 2011 season. A second announcement will be made later this spring which will include kickoff times and a list of games that will be broadcast on television stations affiliated with the Mountain West Conference. The possibility still exists that some games could be moved to a non-Saturday slot for television and kickoff times are very fluid.

Following an open date on Oct. 29 (Saturday), Boise State will travel to UNLV on Nov. 5 (Saturday) before playing three of its final four games at home beginning with TCU on Nov. 12 (Saturday).

"The entire 2011 schedule is going to be exciting and challenging. The November schedule is going to be especially exciting for our fans with three home games highlighted by our game against TCU."
Boise State begins the season on Sept. 3 (Saturday) in a nationally televised (ESPN) game against the University of Georgia in the Georgia Dome.
