The fourth and fifth floors of Boise State’s Stueckle Sky Center were filled with orange and blue clad Bronco faithful on Wednesday afternoon, welcoming the announcement of the 21 newest members of the Bronco football family.

     Letter of Intent Day 2009 also ushered in a new event to introduce the Bronco recruiting class of 2009, with the event held for the first time in the state of the art Double R Ranch Club Room in the newly constructed Stueckle Sky Center.  A sold out audience of 400+ fans spent time with the Bronco coaching staff, listening to interviews and watching highlights of each of the 21 incoming recruits.  The three and a half hour event included a two hour radio show on KIDO AM 580 and the Bronco Radio Network, while also being streamed live on BroncoSports.com.

     Over the phone interviews were conducted with running back Malcolm Johnson, wide receiver Kirby Moore, defensive end Nick Alexander and quarterback Joe Southwick.  Junior college transfer Winston Venable appeared at the event and mingled with fans, while also discussing with fans and the radio audience the reasons he choice Boise State and what he was excited about as a new Bronco.
