SEASON TICKET INFORMATION | LETTER FROM AD CURT APSEY

BOISE, Idaho – Throughout the years, several groups and individuals have helped make Boise State football what it is today, providing our University, the city of Boise and the Gem State one of the most successful teams in the country.

Even with the tireless efforts of countless individuals – coaches, student-athletes and administrators – we could not have done it without our fans and the people that support us. None of what has been accomplished throughout the history of this program could have been achieved without Bronco Nation, thus Boise State Athletics announced Thursday that for the fifth-consecutive year ticket prices in the main stadium will remain the same.

Ticket prices will remain flat across the board for the fourth time in five seasons, with the exception of the Family Plan, which will decrease in price by nearly $100.

“Ticket sales and contributions to the Bronco Athletic Association account for nearly 50 percent of our budget, and we realize there are several factors that impact whether or not someone buys a ticket,” Apsey said. “We need our fans more now than we ever have.”

Season ticket packages for the Broncos’ 2017 schedule start as low as $165 in the North Endzone.

The Family Plan, which includes two adult and two junior tickets, dropped to $699 this season from $790. Additional junior tickets can be purchased for $95 for the season, and tickets can be upgraded from junior to adult on a per-game basis for $39.

Payment plans are available for purchasing season tickets, and the duration of the plans has been extended to as long as six months.

Troy, which went 10-3 in 2016, and Virginia, the first Atlantic Coast Conference school to visit The Blue during the regular season, highlight the nonconference portion of the 2017 schedule. The Broncos’ home Mountain West schedule includes Air Force, Nevada, New Mexico and Wyoming. Dates for each of these games will be announced this spring.

Season ticket renewals are available online, including information on relocation and purchasing additional seats. Boise State’s annual Select Your Seat event is scheduled for the week of May 22.

Season ticket holders will have until May 1 to renew their tickets for the 2017 season, and as an incentive to renew early, Boise State is launching a sweepstakes where the earlier you renew, the more prizes the account holder will be eligible to win. Prizes range from facilities tours and meet-and-greets with Bronco coaches, to pregame sideline passes and team-issued gear.

New season ticket holders can purchase tickets immediately by calling the Athletic Ticket Office at (208) 426-4737, and they will have the opportunity to select their seat location.

New for 2017, season ticket holders will be invited to a Holiday Photo Shoot, allowing our greatest supporters to take their holiday card photos on The Blue, and will also receive an invitation to attend a spring event with the Broncos.

“In addition to leaving ticket prices where they’ve been, we have really tried to focus on ways that we can add value to those individuals purchasing season tickets,” Apsey said. “Giving people behind-the-scenes access to our program and adding incentives throughout the year is one way we can do that.”

Albertsons Stadium is one of the toughest environments in the country, a venue that boasts the nation’s highest winning percentage of any collegiate football stadium built before 1980. The Broncos will carry the eighth-longest home winning streak in the country into the 2017 season, and we need our fans to continue providing a home-field advantage like nowhere else.

For questions, or to renew or inquire about becoming a season ticket holder, visit the Athletic Ticket Office on the west side of Albertsons Stadium, or call (208) 426-4737. Information can also be found HERE, which includes complete details and specifics on renewal promotions.
