BOISE, Idaho - Boise State University and the University of Washington have announced a two-game home-and-home football series beginning in the 2013 season.

The Broncos will travel to Seattle to face the Huskies on Sept. 7, 2013 (Saturday), with Washington making the trip to Bronco Stadium on Sept. 19, 2015 (Saturday).  Kickoff times will be announced at a later date.

"This is a natural series for the two schools," Boise State Director of Athletics Gene Bleymaier stated.  "I know are fans will be excited about being able to see a quality opponent like Washington play on the Blue Turf, and I'm sure we will have a large contingent of fans making the trip to Seattle."

Both schools will exchange a game guarantee of $350,000.

Boise State has a record of 0-1 against the Huskies with the only previous contest during the 2007 season with Washington posting a 24-10 win in Seattle.

Washington is coming off a 7-6 record in 2010, including a 19-7 win over the University of Nebraska in the Holiday Bowl.

Boise State completed the 2010 season with a 12-1 mark, a 26-3 victory over the University of Utah in the MAACA Bowl Las Vegas and a final national ranking of No. 7 and No. 9 in the USA Today Coaches and Associated Press polls, respectively.

The Broncos have an all-time mark of 5-11 against teams from the current Pac-10 Conference, but currently have a three-game winning streak against current members of the Pac-10.

The consecutive wins have come against Oregon State University this past season, 37-24 in Boise, and back-to-back wins over the University of Oregon in 2009 at Bronco Stadium (19-8) and in 2008 in Eugene (37-32).

Below is the tentative Boise State non-conference schedule for the next seven years.

A complete schedule for 2011, in what will be the Broncos' inaugural season in the Mountain West Conference, is expected to be announced in mid to late March.
