BOISE, Idaho As part of the festivities surrounding a celebration of the championship Boise State University football team on Jan. 20 (Saturday), the Bronco athletic department has announced a discounted ticket offer for the men’s basketball game against the University of Hawaii.
Adult tickets to the men’s game, which starts at 7:06 p.m. in Taco Bell Arena, will be $4.00, while kids aged 12 and under will be admitted free when accompanied by an adult. The free tickets are only available at the athletic ticket office or the night of the game at Taco Bell Arena.
The event, which is being organized in cooperation with the Office of the Governor and the Boise Mayor’s Office, celebrates the Broncos’ undefeated 13-0 season and its 43-42 overtime victory over the University of Oklahoma in the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl.
The parade starts at 3:00 p.m. and will head to the State Capital Building where a “Statehouse Salute” will include remarks from several university and civic leaders.
From 5:00 7:00 p.m. a pre-game autograph session with players and coaches will be held at the Caven-Williams Sports Complex located between Bronco Stadium and Taco Bell Arena. A ceremony honoring head coach Chris Petersen and the team will be made at halftime of the men’s basketball game where the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl trophy will be on display. Another autograph session will be held following the game in the arena.
