Jalil Brown is in his first season as a strength and conditioning assistant with the Boise State football team. Brown joined the Broncos' staff following his retirement from the National Football League.

A fourth-round selection in the NFL Draft by the Kansas City Chiefs, Brown played professionally for six seasons. In addition to his time with the Chiefs, Brown also played for the Indianapolis Colts and the Miami Dolphins.

Brown played collegiate football at Colorado (2006-10), where he was invited to play in the Senior Bowl following his final campaign. He was co-captain as a senior, and was honorable mention All-Big 12 in each of his final two seasons.

Originally from Phoenix (South Mountain HS), Brown and his wife Brynn have two sons, J.R. and Jett.
