THE SERIES: Boise State trails Portland 6-7 in the all-time series. The Pilots have won each of the last two games, including last year’s 88-79 meeting at the Chiles Center (Dec. 22). The Broncos also lost the last game played in Boise (77-72) Dec. 28, 2003,  and are 3-3 when playing at Taco Bell Arena. Four of the 13 games played have gone to overtime, and only six have been decided by double figures. For a complete look at the all-time series, see page three of the game notes.

HOLDING COURT: The Broncos have won 13-consecutive home games, tied with Long Beach State and Long Island for the 12th-longest streak in the nation. Boise State has won its first seven home games of 2011-12, the longest streak to start a season since 2007-08.
