BOISE, Idaho (AP) - Greg Plater scored a season-high 21 points and Casper Ware added 16 to lead Long Beach State to a 69-66 victory over Boise State, Sunday.

The Broncos (6-1), one of the nation's final 20 undefeated teams prior to the loss, had four different players in double figures. Robert Arnold led the team with 16 points, and Daequon Montreal posted a double-double with 10 points and a career-high 13 rebounds.

Long Beach State (5-4) rallied from a 12-point second-half deficit to win.

After an Arnold layup cut the 49ers' lead to 67-63 with 17 seconds to play, Boise State forced a turnover and Arnold made a 3-pointer with 10.8 seconds left to make it 67-66.

Ware's free throws with 9.6 seconds left made it a three-point lead, and Arnold missed on an off-balance 3-point attempt at the buzzer.

Eugene Phelps chipped in 13 points for the 49ers, while La'Shard Anderson (13) and Westly Perryman (15) were also in double figures for the Broncos. Anderson also recorded five steals - more than the entire Long Beach State squad - and Perryman added a team-high four assists.

The Broncos begin a three-game road trip Wednesday at UNLV. Tip-off is scheduled for 8:05 p.m. (MT).
