Dec. 3, 2015

Boise State (4-4) at Portland (4-4)
Saturday, Dec. 5 | 7 p.m. PT | Portland, Ore. (Chiles Center)

THE GAME: Boise State men's basketball (4-4) plays at Portland (4-4) Saturday, at 7 p.m. PT at the Chiles Center. The all-time series between the Broncos and Pilots is tied 7-7. Boise State won the last meeting 92-70, Dec. 7, 2011, in Boise. The Pilots took an 88-79 victory Dec. 22, 2010, in the last trip to Portland.

LIVE VIDEO: A live video stream of the game will be streamed for free by TheW.tv.

ON THE CALL: The Voice of the Broncos, Bob Behler, is back for his eighth season of calling Boise State men's basketball on the radio. Behler is joined by Bronco great Abe Jackson in his eighth year as the analyst. The game will be carried on the Bronco Radio Network, including the flagship station 670 AM KBOI in Boise. A live audio stream is also available at BroncoSports.com.

ABOUT PORTLAND: The Pilots are under the direction of 10th-year head coach Eric Reveno. Portland is coming off a 78-72 win against cross-town rival Portland State to even its record at 4-4. Alec Wintering leads a balanced Pilot scoring attack with 13.0 points per game.

HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS: Saturday at Portland is Boise State's final road game for a month. The Broncos will open a five-game home stand Wednesday, against Loyola Marymount. The Broncos do not go on the road again until Jan. 5, at Utah State.

BIG WIN: Boise State defeated Willamette Wednesday, 100-36. The 64-point win is Boise State's second-largest margin of victory in program history, trailing only a 67-point win Jan. 5, 2013, vs Walla Walla.

CENTURY CLUB: Boise State has scored at least 100 points in each of its first three home games. It is the first time in program history the Broncos have eclipsed the century mark in three-straight home games. Only once has Boise State scored 100 in four games in a single season, doing so in the 1974-75 campaign.

DOUBLE-DOUBLES: Eight games into the season, James Webb III has recorded three double-doubles and is averaging 14.0 points and 8.1 rebounds per game. Webb had eight double-doubles last season. Ryan Watkins averaged a double-double in 2013-14 (11.9 points and 10.6 rebounds), becoming the first Bronco to do so since 1971-72. Only four times in program history has a Bronco averaged a double-double for a season, including just twice since joining Division I in 1970-71.

70 THE MAGIC NUMBER: Under Leon Rice, Boise State's recipe for success has been to score 70 points. The Broncos are 84-17 when scoring at least 70, and 22-50 when failing to reach that mark.

PASSING FOR SUCCESS: Since the start of the 2011-12 season, Boise State is 37-1 when tallying at least 15 assists in a game.
