SERIES HISTORY: The Broncos lead the all-time series 6-5, though they lost last year’s meeting 69-66 at Taco Bell Arena. The loss was the first of the season for Boise State in 2010-11. The Broncos are 2-2 on the road in the series, and are 0-3 when playing the 49ers in a nonconference game.

VERSUS THE BIG WEST: Boise State is 45-29 all-time against teams currently in the Big West - a league in which the Broncos held membership from 1996-2001. The Broncos are 1-0 against the league this season after defeating Cal State Northridge last week (103-61), and went 2-1 against the conference last season. Boise State compiled a record of 44-36 during its five seasons in the Big West.

TWO 3-0 STARTS UNDER RICE: Boise State is 3-0 under head coach Leon Rice for the second-straight season, the first time in school history the Broncos have gone 3-0 to start a season in back-to-back years. The Broncos tied the school record with a 6-0 start in 2010-11.
