Bronco Men Close Road Trip with UC Davis
The Boise State men’s basketball team (2-0) completes its two-game California road trip Sunday (Nov. 21), squaring off against UC Davis (0-3). The game is slated for a 2 p.m. (MT) tip at The Pavilion in Davis, Calif.

The Broncos are coming off a 65-60 victory over San Diego Friday at Jenny Craig Pavilion. Robert Arnold scored a game-high 25 points - his fourth-career 20-point outing- and La’Shard Anderson added 17 points to help lead Boise State past the Toreros.

UC Davis defeated Boise State 82-74 last season (Feb. 20, 2010) in Boise in an ESPN BracketBuster game. It is the only meeting between the two teams all-time.

The Aggies are a member of the Big West Conference, a league in which the Broncos held membership from 1996-2001. Boise State is 42-28 all-time against teams currently in the Big West, and the Broncos compiled a record of 44-36 during their five seasons in the conference.

Leon Rice is in his debut season after being named the seventh head coach in school history, March 26, 2010. Rice joins the Broncos after spending the last 11 seasons on the coaching staff at Gonzaga. He had served as the associate head coach with the Bulldogs since 2007.

Bob Behler is in his third season as the “Voice of the Broncos,” and his 25th calling college basketball games. Joining Behler, and also in his third season, is former Bronco Abe Jackson, who played for Boise State from 1998-2002.

Boise State’s 2-0 start in 2010-11 marks the first time since the 2004-05 season it has won its first two games. The Broncos are looking for their first 3-0 start since 2003-04.
