The Broncos will be joined in Puerto Rico by Florida State, Illinois State, Iowa State, South Carolina, Tulsa, UTEP and Western Michigan. In addition to the 2013 Diamond Head Classic, the Broncos participated in the 2015 Wooden Legacy and are currently at the 2016 Charleston Classic. Prior to head coach Leon Rice’s arrival at Boise State, the last time the program played in a major early-season tournament was the 2000 Pearl Harbor Classic.

UTEP and Western Michigan are also in the 2016 Gildan Charleston Classic.

Boise State begins the Charleston Classic Thursday, against host College of Charleston. Tipoff is at 7 p.m. ET/5 p.m. MT.
