SEASON SEVEN: Leon Rice enters his seventh season as the head coach of Boise State men's basketball. Rice has led the Broncos to unprecedented success with two NCAA Tournament appearances, five 20-win seasons and a conference title. The NCAA appearances (2013 and 2015) are the only two at-large bids in program history.

UP NEXT: Boise State will travel to the Gildan Charleston Classic next week, its third appearance in a major early-season tournament in four years. The Broncos open against College of Charleston Thursday.

SEASON OPENERS: Boise State is 28-20 all-time in season openers as a four-year school. Last year's loss at Montana snapped a streak of eight-consecutive wins in season openers.

HOME OPENERS: Boise State is 39-9 all-time in home openers as a four-year school. The Broncos have won 13-straight home debuts. Boise State's last loss in a home opener was Nov. 18, 2002, in a 73-59 setback to Eastern Illinois.

YOUTH MOVEMENT: Boise State has two seniors, one junior, five sophomores and five freshmen on this year's roster. The Broncos were among the oldest teams in the country last season with four redshirt seniors.

NEW FACES: Seven members of the 2016-17 Broncos have never suited up for Boise State, including four freshmen, one junior college transfer and two student-athletes who sat out last season while on the Boise State roster.

COSTA RICA: Boise State spent six days in Costa Rica in August, on its first foreign tour under Leon Rice. The Broncos played four games against international competition, numerous cultural experiences and various team-building activities.

BRONCOS PICKED FIFTH: Boise State men's basketball was picked to finish fifth in the Mountain West Men's Basketball Preseason Poll. The predicted order of finish and Preseason All-MW team was voted on by 27 media members who cover the conference.

Of those 21, 10 will be carried by the ESPN Family of Networks, five on ROOT Sports, four on CBS Sports Network, one on the Pac-12 Networks and two by Campus Insiders.
