Bronco Men's Hoops Wraps Up Exhibitions Friday

BOISE, Idaho -
Boise State men's basketball will host its second and final exhibition game Friday, against Montana Tech. Tipoff is tentatively scheduled for 8 p.m. (MT), but It is the second game of a doubleheader with women's basketball. The Bronco women tip off against Northwest Nazarene at 5:35 p.m. The men's game will begin 30 minutes after the conclusion of the women's game, but no earlier than 8 p.m.
 
RADIO: The game will be heard on the Bronco Radio Network. Chris Lewis and Abe Jackson will call the action. It can be heard locally on the flagship station, 670-AM KBOI. The audio will also be streamed at BroncoSports.com and on the Boise State Broncos Mobile App.
 
LIVE VIDEO: The game will be live video streamed on the Mountain West Network. Access the stream via BroncoSports.com, including on the men's basketball schedule page. The postgame press conference will also be streamed live.
 
TICKETS: Tickets purchased for the women's game (before halftime) will be honored for the men's game. Single-game men's basketball tickets start at $11 for adults, and are available to purchase online at BroncoSports.com/tickets or through the Boise State Athletic Ticket Office in person or by phone (208-426-4737). Season tickets are also still available, starting at just $149 for all 16 home games.
 
LAST TIME OUT: Boise State defeated La Verne 92-60 Saturday, in the first exhibition game of the season. Nick Duncan scored 14 points to lead five Broncos in double figures. Kevin Allen, Joe Hanstad and Rob Heyer led the team with six rebounds apiece.
 
ABOUT MONTANA TECH: The Orediggers (2-1) have already played three regular-season games and took on Idaho State Wednesday, in an exhibition game. Montana Tech lost to the Bengals, 66-59. Senior Adam Greger is the team's leading scorer at 18.7 points per game. Montana Tech competes at the NAIA level in the Frontier Conference. The Orediggers were picked to finish sixth in the league, while Greger was a preseason all-conference pick.
 
LAST MEETING: Boise State hosted Montana Tech in an exhibition game Oct. 30, 2010. It was the first game of Leon Rice's head coaching career. The Broncos won 77-58, behind 17 points from Daequon Montreal. Then-freshman Jeff Elorriaga scored 14 points in his debut. The last time the two teams played in a regular-season game was Nov. 21, 2007, with the Broncos winning 107-53.
 
WACK ATTACK: Freshman forward David Wacker scored 12 points in his exhibition debut, Saturday, against La Verne. Wacker scored 10-straight points for the Broncos during a stretch of 3:06 in the second half on 4-of-4 shooting from the floor and a pair of free throws. He finished 5-for-7 from the field.
