Bronco Men to Host Tuesday Exhibition

The Boise State men’s basketball team will play its only tune-up prior to the start of the 2011-12 season, hosting CU-Colorado Springs in an exhibition game Tuesday (Nov. 8) at Taco Bell Arena. Tip-off between the Broncos and Mountain Lions is scheduled for 7 p.m.

TICKET INFORMATION: Tickets for the exhibition are $16 (parquet) and $13 (mezzanine) for adults, and $7 for youth.

Parking for the exhibition is free.

SERIES HISTORY: The Broncos and Mountain Lions have squared off once during the regular season, a 78-64 home victory, Dec. 17, 1995.

The Mountain Lions are a member of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, a league Boise State is 4-1 against during the regular season. The Broncos defeated Western State (78-52) in last year’s season opener, and also knocked off Adams State (83-72) in an exhibition game last season.

UP NEXT: The Broncos open their 2011-12 regular season against Colorado Christian Friday (Nov. 11) at Taco Bell Arena. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m., and will be part of a doubleheader with the women’s team, which plays host to Southern Oregon at 5:30 p.m.
