BOISE, Idaho - With the 2008-09 basketball season tipping-off in a few weeks, the Boise State men’s basketball team will be holding a scrimmage Friday night at Taco Bell Arena immediately following the Boise StateHawai’i football game. The scrimmage is open to the public and admission to the event is free and will end Boise State’s opening practice of the upcoming season.
Bronco fans are invited to get a first look at this year’s team, meet the players following the scrimmage and pick up schedule cards, magnets and this year’s commemorative team poster. The scrimmage is expected to start between 9:30 and 9:45 p.m., and will last approximately 30 minutes.
The first chance to see the Boise State basketball teams in action is in a doubleheader exhibition game, Friday, Nov. 1 starting at 1 p.m., with the women taking on Lewis-Clark State while the men are scheduled to tip-off at 3:15 p.m. against Guelph.
