Broncos Picked Fifth in MBB Poll

LAS VEGAS - Boise State men's basketball was picked to finish fifth in the Mountain West Men's Basketball Preseason Poll. The predicted order of finish and Preseason All-MW team was voted on by 27 media members who cover the conference.

San Diego State was picked as the league favorite, garnering 23 first-place votes and 293 points. The Aztecs were ahead of Nevada (253 points), New Mexico (249 points; three first-place votes) and Fresno State (200 points; one first-place vote).

The Broncos checked in fifth with 164 points, just ahead of Utah State (153 points) and Colorado State (146 points). UNLV (120), Air Force (90), Wyoming (73) and San Jose State (41) rounded out the poll.
