2014-15 Boise State Men's Basketball Prospectus Get Acrobat Reader

Boise State men's basketball begins its journey through the 2014-15 season Friday, with the first official practice. The first allowable practice day is 42 days before the team's regular-season opener, during which the Broncos can practice up to 30 times.

Eight returning letterwinners, three returning squad members and five newcomers make up this year's edition of Boise State men's basketball. The Broncos are looking to build on back-to-back 21-win seasons and last year's trip to the semifinals of the Mountain West Championship.

Fans can get their first look at the Broncos Saturday, Oct. 11, as Boise State will host an open scrimmage with free admission.

Don't look now, but basketball season is just about here.

The Boise State men's basketball team begins fall practices Friday, and will host a free, open scrimmage at 7 p.m. on Oct. 11 at Bronco Gym.

BOISE -- When the Boise State men's basketball team opened the season a year ago, it was the only team that qualified for the NCAA Tournament the previous year in the country that returned all five starters. Expectations were through the roof.

The feeling isn't exactly the same -- at least nationally -- as the Broncos hold their first official practice this afternoon.
