Broncos to Face Vandals in Men's Basketball
BOISE, Idaho – Boise State and Idaho will play a neutral-site men’s basketball game Dec. 31, at the Idaho Center in Nampa.

A time for the game has yet to be determined.

The contract is a one-year agreement between the schools, and revenue generated from the game will be split equally.

Dating back to Jan. 9, 1971, the Broncos and Vandals have played 85 times, with Boise State holding a 50-35 advantage. Only once in the all-time series have the teams played at a neutral site – during the 1992 Big Sky Conference Tournament in Missoula, Mont.

The Broncos and Vandals have played all but eight of the games in the series as members of the same conference. From 2001-04, Boise State and Idaho squared off eight times, each of which resulted in a Boise State victory.

The Broncos won both meetings with Idaho last season in Boise State’s final season in the Western Athletic Conference.
