Boise, Idaho - Peak Broadcasting and Boise State University jointly announced Wednesday (Sept. 10) the appointment of Abe Jackson as the men’s basketball color analyst for the Peak/Boise State University Sports Radio Network.

In this new position, Jackson will provide vital stats, descriptions, and courtside commentary throughout the game. As a former Boise State basketball starter and local Boise athlete since grade school, Jackson will bring Bronco hoops to life for radio listeners throughout the West.

A lifelong resident of Boise, Jackson graduated from Bishop Kelly High School in 1998, the year they won the state championship. He attended Boise State the following year making the Big West Conference Tournament team as a freshman and All-Western Athletic Conference honors by the time he was a senior. In 2003 He played professional basketball in France (Valence-Condom) returning to the Treasure Valley to complete his degree in Communications at Boise State in 2006.

Locally, Boise State Basketball will be heard on 580 KIDO radio and www.580kido.com.

The first broadcast of BSU basketball will be Monday November 17th against Siena.
