Coby's Court: Part 2

Aug 22, 2013

Boise State men's basketball legend Coby Karl signed with Reggio Emilia of the Italian Serie A earlier this summer. Before leaving to start the season, Karl sat down with BroncoSports.com to discuss his professional career, the Boise State basketball fraternity, the potential he sees in the current roster and staff and his favorite memories from his time as a Bronco.

Karl suited up for the Broncos from 2003-07, ultimately finishing his career with 1,698 points (third-most in school history), including a school-record 266 made three-pointers.

This is episode two of a four-part series with Karl. In this segment he discusses the fraternity of Broncos turned professional basketball players and what it means for the program.

Head coach Leon Rice added to Karl's comments, inviting all former Broncos to be a part of the program. "We love having Broncos around the program. All eras are welcome back here, whether it's coming to games or practices or just swinging by the office. That's an important part of what we're trying to do here and it's great for the guys to be surrounded by that."
