Season Tickets

BOISE, Idaho - Boise State men's basketball will host SMU Nov. 30, beginning a home-and-home series with the Mustangs. The Broncos will return the trip during the 2017-18 season.

SMU went 25-5 last season and finished No. 14 in the NCAA RPI ratings, but was ineligible for the postseason. The Mustangs return three starters from last season. SMU has won at least 25 games each of the past three seasons.

The series rekindles a past rivalry. The teams met nine times from 2001 to 2005 when both schools were members of the Western Athletic Conference. SMU holds a 5-4 all-time series lead and five games were decided by single digits. The teams split four previous games at Taco Bell Arena. Boise State's last home win against SMU came Jan. 31, 2004, when Aaron Haynes banked in a game-winning floater with 2.1 seconds left to erase a nine-point second-half deficit and lift the Broncos to a 61-59 victory.

Of the 12 current members of the American Athletic Conference, Boise State has only played Houston since the league's reorganization in 2013. The Broncos beat the Cougars on a neutral floor at the 2014 Las Vegas Classic. Boise State has faced three other current members. The only such nonconference meeting was a two-game series against Cincinnati during the 1999-2000 and 2000-01 seasons. In addition to SMU, the Broncos previously shared a conference with Tulsa (WAC) from 2001 to 2005.

The remainder of Boise State's 2016-17 nonconference schedule will be released in the coming weeks.

Season tickets are on sale now for the 2016-17 Boise State men's basketball campaign. Tickets can be purchased online at, over the phone at 208-426-4737 or in person at the Boise State Athletic Ticket Office located on the west side of Albertsons Stadium.

The NCAA Tournament returns to Taco Bell Arena in 2018. First priority for tournament tickets will go to Boise State season ticket holders during the 2015-16 and 2016-17 seasons. Fans who held season tickets both years will have the first opportunity to purchase tournament tickets in the spring of 2017.
