BOISE, Idaho Boise State University senior Coby Karl announced Sunday (June 18) afternoon that he has withdrawn his name from the upcoming NBA Draft and will return for his senior season (2006-07) with the Bronco men’s basketball team.
                Karl declared for the NBA Draft on May 3 and had until 3:00 p.m. (MT) today to remove his name from retain his collegiate eligibility. NCAA rules allows underclassmen to declare for the draft one time during their college careers and return to school provided they do not hire an agent. Karl did not hire agent.
                During the past month and one-half, Karl worked out for several NBA teams, including the Denver Nuggets who are coached by his father, George.
                Karl led the Bronco team last year in scoring with a 17.2 points-per game average and assists with per-game average of 4.0.
