Broncos in the Community
BOISE, Idaho – The Boise State men’s basketball season has come to a close, but Bronco student-athletes are still working as a team in the community.

This past week the team spent the evening at Hawthorne Elementary, participating in “Snuggle Up & Read,” a program designed to get youth interested in reading. The Broncos joined students and their families for the event.

The Broncos have been participating in community service activities all season, working with local organizations that service youth and encourage healthy choices, including Make-A-Wish, St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital and St. Joseph’s School.

The team has put in more than 75 volunteer hours this year, and should surpass 100 hours by the end of the 2011-12 academic year.
