Duncan Named All-Tournament
March 14, 2015

LAS VEGAS - Boise State sophomore forward Nick Duncan was named to the 2015 Mountain West Championship All-Tournament Team, Saturday following the conclusion of the title game. Duncan averaged 17 points in Boise State's two games, hitting a tournament-high 10 three-point field goals.

Duncan's all-tournament selection is the first for Boise State since joining the Mountain West. It is the 22nd all-tournament honor in school history and the first since La'Shard Anderson at the 2011 Western Athletic Conference Tournament.

Duncan poured in 23 points in Boise State's quarterfinal win Thursday, against Air Force. The Australia native knocked down seven three-pointers, including five in the decisive second half. Duncan scored 11 points in Friday's semifinal loss to Wyoming.

His 17 points per game ranked third in the tournament, while Duncan's 44.4 percent field goal shooting was ninth, despite 23 of 27 attempts coming from beyond the arc.

Wyoming won the Mountain West Championship as the No. 4 seed, knocking off No. 2 San Diego State in the final to earn the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. The Cowboys upset the top-seeded Broncos in overtime during the semifinal round. Boise State will learn its tournament fate Sunday, during the NCAA Tournament Selection Show at 4 p.m. MT on CBS.
