FIRST TIME AROUND: New Mexico used a 15-2 run late in the second half coupled with timely free throw shooting down the stretch to sneak by Boise State 88-83 Saturday afternoon in Taco Bell Arena. Nick Duncan led the way for the Broncos with 19 points.

BOUNCING BACK: Boise State capped a trying week with an emphatic win Saturday, against Wyoming, after a controversial double-overtime loss at Colorado State that captured national attention. Head Coach Leon Rice said he wanted to win Saturday, for the players, more than any game in his career.

LAST TIME: Dominant efforts on both ends of the court paved the way for a 94-71 Boise State men’s basketball win over Wyoming, Saturday at Taco Bell Arena. The Broncos, who closed the game on a 37-17 run, scored more than 90 points for the seventh time this season and never trailed.
