Bronco Rewind: Boise State Downs New Mexico

Feb. 14, 2014

BOISE, Idaho - Rewind to Wednesday. Boise State had lost three-straight games by a combined 12 points and was hosting New Mexico- the only Mountain West school the Broncos remained winless against all-time. The Lobos took a 12-point lead in the first half and again extended it to 11 in the second.

Then Boise State took over. The team that has battled all the way to the buzzer all season long came to life. Thomas Bropleh hit four big three-pointers. Anthony Drmic scored from everywhere. Ryan Watkins recorded yet another double-double. Oh, and Derrick Marks made two free throws with 13 seconds left when the Broncos were down one.

New Mexico's last shot bounced off the back of the rim. The fight paid off. The comeback was completed. The string of heartbreak was over.

Watch the video below and relive the excitement while listening to the Broncos talk about the big win and the big stretch left in front of them.
