BOISE, Idaho Six Boise State players scored in double figures Tuesday night as the Broncos cruised to a 101-65 non-league win over Montana Western in Taco Bell Arena.
Matt Nelson led the Broncos (14-10) with 19 points and seven rebounds in just 20 minutes. Anthony Thomas added 18 points, six assists and four steals, while Coby Karl scored 17 points and dished out six assists for the Broncos.
Seth Robinson chipped in 14 points and seven boards, while Kenny Wilson had 11 points and Matt Bauscher scored 10. Colin Hallberg led the Broncos with a career-high 11 rebounds.
Boise State shot 53.3 percent for the game and outscored the Bulldogs 60-26 in the paint and 25-11 off turnovers. The Broncos also had 44 bench points in the win.
Boise State scheduled Western Montana earlier this month to make up for the Colorado State game, which was canceled due to a December snow storm.
The Broncos host Albany on Friday in Taco Bell Arena in and ESPNU Bracket Buster game that will be televised on ESPNU. Tip off is 7:02 p.m.
